N.E. Extension Fatal Crash in Carbon County

On Aug. 28, 2011, a Lehigh Valley driver was killer in an auto accident on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Carbon County. According to The Morning Call, the Hellertown PA resident lost control of his SUV while driving in heavy rain during Hurricane Irene. The sports utility vehicle crashed thru a guide rail and down an embankment.
