February 28, 2013 marked a pivotal day in Attorney Newell’s fight for justice for 2 Allentown area pit bull attack victims and their dog.  On that date, Officer Bryan Losagio informed Thomas J. Newell, Esquire that the Salisbury Township Police Chief concurred with his legal opinion.  PA Dog Law violations were filed on 2/28/13 against Montreal L. Howard with District Justice Michael J. Pochron.

OREO #7The PA Dog Law charges were based upon a brutal unprovoked pit bull attack that took place on 2/4/13.  A 49 year old woman, as well as her 73 year old father, were bitten by the defendant’s pit bull as they tried to save the life of their cockapoo, Oreo.  The vet bills for Oreo are nearly $5,000.00 to date, with more veterinary care required.  The negligent pit bull owner has refused to pay even a penny for the vet bills or the victims’ medical expenses.  He has also failed to supply Attorney Newell with information regarding the landlord’s insurance company.
