A Monroe County PA rottweiler owner had her appeals dismissed on 2/21/13 by the Monroe County Court of Common Pleas. The negligent dog owner had been convicted on 10/4/12 by District Justice Brian Germano of numerous PA Dog Law charges. The citations included failure to confine and harboring a dangerous dog.
Attorney Newell provided the Assistant District Attorney with numerous Pennsylvania Appellate Court decisions which would support a conviction in this rottweiler attack case. His 10 year old client was present to testify for the Commonwealth, as were his parents and the Monroe County Dog Warden, George Nixon.
The irresponsible dog owner failed to attend the trial and, therefore, her convictions of PA Dog Law violations became final. Attorney Thomas J. Newell represents dog bite victims throughout Pennsylvania. Call 1-800-980-4842 to set up your free home consultation. Visit his website: www.PADogAttackLawyer.com.
