On April 16, 2012, a Berks County PA car accident victim died due to injuries sustained in a car crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike 2 days earlier. According to The Pocono Record, the woman was driving on the PA Turnpike when a truck crashed into a traffic control sign, knocking the sign into the incoming travel lanes.
The PA car crash victim was struck in the head by the sign. Her automobile hit another vehicle and then struck a concrete barrier. She was medevaced to Reading Hospital. The Berks County Deputy Coroner pronounced her dead two days later. The 31 year-old woman had worked as a web editor for Montgomery Media and editor for the Souderton Independent and Perkasie News Herald newspapers.
