A February 24, 2010 Preliminary Hearing resulted in a finding of sufficient evidence to charge an East Stroudsburg PA driver with vehicular homicide, DUI and other criminal offenses.   On Jan. 10, 2009 a Stroud Township pedestrian was walking on/by Stokes Avenue when he was hit by a car driven by a 31 yr. old Monroe County driver.  According to an article in the Pocono Record, Stroud Area Regional Police alleged that the driver’s blood alcohol reading was 0.13 percent shortly after the car-pedestrian accident.
