A June 6, 2012 article from the PittsburghChannel.com details a horrifying pit bull attack which resulted in the death of a small dog. The pit bull was roaming loose in the Carrick neighborhood of Pittsburgh when it jumped thru a window of a neighbor’s house.
The family’s rottweiler fled the scene and left the Shih Tzu to fend off the attacking pit bull. The small dog died at the scene of the attack. When asked to comment on this unprovoked attack and the whereabouts of the pitbull, its owner said “I got rid of the dog and someone in Florida has it now.” Hopefully he will be charged with numerous PA Dog Law violations.
