QUAKERTOWN AREA DOG BITE SETTLEMENTS

Location: Bucks County PA
Settlement: $148,544.00

Quakertown PA dog bite lawyer, Thomas J. Newell, obtained a $148,544.00 settlement for a Bucks County dog attack victim. There was a family party in Lower Bucks County. A rottweiler lived in the home and was not separated from the invited guests. Its owner was aggressively playing with the rottweiler. The vicious dog then bit a young boy without any provocation.

The PA dog mauling victim was treated at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Langhorne Pennsylvania. Facial plastic surgery was performed and the surgeon used about 30 stitches to close the dog bite wounds. Additional surgical procedures were needed to remove a build-up of scar tissue and minimize the permanent facial scar. The boy’s parents had to pay for the 3rd surgery out of their own pocket because their private health insurance company denied coverage.

Once all of the surgeries had been completed, the Bucks County dog bite attorney began serious settlement negotiations with the homeowner’s insurance company. They ultimately agreed to fund a structured settlement annuity with a total payout of $148, 544.00. If your child has been bitten by a dog in Quakertown, please call Attorney Newell today.
