Salisbury Township Bans Dogs In All But 2 Of Its Parks

A July 1, 2013 article from The Morning Call reviewed a new ordinance adopted by Salisbury Township in Lehigh County.  The law bans dogs in all of its parks/open spaces except for Franko Farm and Walking Purchase Park.  Dogs will be allowed there provided they are leashed and under the control of its owner.

DOGS MUST BE LEASHEDAttorney Newell believes this new law was enacted in response to multiple dog attacks within Salisbury Township in 2013.  Both people and other dogs have been injured as a result of unleashed/unrestrained vicious dogs running loose in the Township.
