On March 29, 2012, a Mount Pleasant PA family became victimized again by a neighbor’s bull mastiff. According to wtae.com, the vicious dog broke free from its chain and attacked a 19 year old girl. The young woman was able to free herself from the bull mastiff and jumped on her car to escape the attack.
Last summer, the Westmoreland County dog bite victim’s brother was bitten by the same bull mastiff and needed 15 stitches to close all the bite wounds. Pennsylvania State Police and a local dog enforcement officer will be investigating this most recent attack. PA Dog Law violations are expected to be cited to the bull mastiff’s owner.
