York County Dog Attack Victim Testifies at Trial

On April 24, 2012, a York County pit bull owner was convicted of multiple PA Dog Law violations including harboring a dangerous dog. The York County District Attorney’s Office presented multiple witnesses who testified as to a 6/1/10 pit bull attack in Hanover Pennsylvania. The 2 pit bulls were owned by Chester Little who was residing at property owned by his mother, Marjorie Nicholson.

The York County dog bite victim, an 8 year-old boy, had a significant amount of both of his ears bitten off by the pit bulls. He also suffered serious wounds to his head. 17 surgeries have taken place to date, as well as 54 different injections. The young boy’s medical bills have totaled approximately $500,000.00. Sentencing for the defendant has been set for May 2, 2012.
