York County Dog Bite Victim Speaks With Attorney Newell

Posted on: December 20th, 2012       Attorney Thomas Newell

On December 17, 2012, a York County PA dog attack victim reviewed her case with Pennsylvania dog bite lawyer, Thomas J. Newell.  On Dec. 5th, she was walking her Shih Tzu on a leash when 2 pit bulls escaped out of a Hanover PA home and attacked her dog.  As she tried to save her small canine, the Hanover PA resident was bitten on the left hand.  She received medical care at Hanover Hospital.

Shih Tzu #2Hanover Police are investigating the unprovoked attack.  Hopefully, multiple PA Dog Law charges will be filed versus the negligent pit bull owner.  Failure to confine and harboring a dangerous dog would be appropriate citations.  The pit bulls were quarantined and no sign of rabies was exhibited.
